IMHO that's not ugly.
How is that a feature? Differentiating IPv4 from IPv6 sockets is a feature to me!
If you want to use '*' in IPv4 and IPv6, add another column please.

All changes are not regressions.

Yes it was intentional because the outputing  [::]:20 looked ugly and using * 
makes IPv4 and IPv6
look the same.
