Well, the softmac thing went so well I figured I'd try for more... :-)

The bcm43xx driver is making good progress. It has been in Fedora
rawhide for a while and is available in FC5. It seems to work
reasonably well for a number of people.

This driver makes use of the newly merged softmac component, and
it supports some commonly available hardware on multiple platforms.
I'd love to see this go to Linus RSN.

So, once again I'm asking for some solid review on netdev. Please give
this a good look-over, and point-out any problems that should keep
it out of upstream ASAP.

The consolidated patch for the driver is rather large. So, I have
posted it here:

   http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/linville/bcm43xx.patch

When I merge it upstream, I will merge the individual patches to
preserve the history. I figured posting the consolidated patch on
kernel.org was better than spamming the list again...

FWIW, the individual patches (along with some others) are available here:

   http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/linville/wireless-2.6/devel/

Thanks!

John
