Ok, Since I use this product a lot I would love to get help with proj management and planning to get a Version 1.x release with a solid roadmap to that point. Is this something we should hash out on this list, or the dev list? I put it on this list since you said the "community" should revise it. A couple for > .85 did and that just didn't seem like the way to go for me. Most breaking changes were done between 0.84 and 0.85 rc1 as part of the development for 0.85, so these are not really exceptional. It just doesn't feel right because we did not have any beta's in the 0.85 release cycle. But there were indeed two other breaking changes (one in rc3 and one in rc4). We could've postponed these changes until after 0.85 RTM, but that would just have increased the impact. I agree that it's a bad practice to introduce breaking changes in rc's, and I hope to avoid it in the future (by, amongst other things, having shorter release cycles). > Also, how accurate is the road map out there?
