It won't - the point is that most people will use the one on the path and right now we handle poorly the fact that the default config entry doesn't necessarily match whats on the users system.

path. pkg-config will not work for a mono installation built from source
- at least it doesn't for my installation.



But how will this deal with multiple Mono versions present on a system ?
