Sorry if it is annoying to pursue this NAntcontrib thing here. I know this
is the NAnt group. But the NAntcontrib mail list looks useless.

However, there is a relationship between the two even if it should be one
way (NAntcontrib to NAnt). This relationship is made very clear in this
thread of messages. In order to round off NAnt for "Corporate" use, certain
functionality is needed but not seen as 'necessary' for NAnt core. SQL, VSS
and have been mentioned in this thread and the response is "it's in
NAntcontrib". So, the functionality of NAntcontrib is recognized for the
"corporate" success of NAnt.

However, it seems that NAntcontrib is not very assessable. (I may be wrong.
Someone please prove me wrong!) I can't seem to download a ZIP file and
just use it the way I can NAnt. While, if I have to, I suppose I can decide
to make the leap to become CVS junkie and figure out exactly what I need to
do to download, this seems unnecessary AND contrary to the accessibility
objectives for the Corporate Target. I feel like I'm having to jump through
hoops to use the thing. (And from the emails I see, I know it's not just
me.)

Maybe the objective of getting "Corporate" buyin is more of an atherial
experience than a real objective. But if NAnt is to become a real tool with
real buyin in the .Net development community then this bridge has to built.

Either the necessary components from NAntcontrib should be brought into NAnt
where it can be properly packaged or the NAntcontrib needs to be made more
assesible.

Thanks, Cash

Sorry no. Binaries for NAntcontrib ship as part of the 0.83 release however.
