Dear community,

I am working with bee wings to evaluate fluctuating asymmetry using
geometric morphometrics. I have taken photos of the first pair of right and
left wings of each individual. I will now place the landmarks with tpsDig
and then use MorphoJ. My question is the following: would it be advisable
to mirror all the left-wing photos so that all the images correspond to the
right side, making it easier to place the landmarks? I wonder if this could
cause any issues when evaluating fluctuating asymmetry in MorphoJ. Any
thoughts?

Thank you so much!

Mariana
