I take the liberty to redirect the latest call from the Alliance of
World Scientists. You may have read about this, as it was mentioned in
the past by Nature, Science and other journals (and the media) and
probably many of you have already joined it.

It's less than 3 pages to read. I can only agree on everything they
wrote and hope it will receive a massive support from the morphometric
community as well as from all other scientific communities.

Dear Alliance of World Scientists member, I have two updates for you
today. 1) I invite you to join me and become a signatory on the Global
Scientists Call for Economic Stimulus to Address Climate Adaptation and
Covid by going to https://gca.org/scientistsignon On 22 January, a
group of notable scientists will meet to deliver this message to world
leaders on how to shape the economic recovery. On 25 January, world
leaders will meet to make commitments for a climate adaptation agenda
that will compliment increased global mitigation efforts. The Covid
pandemic is an example of what happens when science is ignored. Facing
both Climate Change and Covid together, world leaders need guidance from
the science community as to how to respond.
and 2) I would like to update you on the narrow-focused Scientists’
Warning article project in that we now have 3 newly published papers, 18
previously published papers, and 47 papers in the works (including 11
new papers in preparation). You can see a list of all of the papers
below with hotlink to each published paper. Please let me know if you
are starting a new narrow-focused Scientists’ Warning paper and I will
put you on this list. Just email me at

with the working title of your paper and the name of the lead author.
