(I sent this to Andrzej earlier, but meant to include this list for
discussion.)

Hi Andrzej ! It seems you're moving my cheese (I use ReaderView and
the ReadingList a *lot*) and want to help it stay as awesome as I've
grown accustomed to. This is one of my main points for choosing FF
over Chrome and others.

Can I suggest / enquire about:

I have no use for co-mingled items in my bookmarks. In your meta bug,
I don't see plans for an option to hide / filter them. You appear to
be considering the idea at [0], but I'd like to provide one right away.

It seems you plan to remove the (now deprecated) about:home "READING
LIST" panel [1] which seems reasonable where the new scheme doesn't
display those items and redirects you to the top of the about:Home
BOOKMARKS folder.

However, access to the Readinglist items becomes more awkward,
requiring navigating to that panel, then either down through the
(un-desired mixed-use-case) bookmarks list, or down into the new
"Reading List folder".

This isn't optimal, as a tab switch away from and back to the
about:Home BOOKMARKS panel, places you at the top of the list again,
and not back into the Reading List folder proper.

[0] 1251340: Probe to measure if RV item was opened from root Bookmark
list or from smart folder
[1] 1259078: Do we want to hide the "migrated" reading-list panel for
new users, and/or users without reading-list items?

            Bug ID: 1263470
Summary: Investigate browser toolbar jank when enter/exiting
                    editing mode
    Classification: Client Software
           Product: Firefox for Android
         Component: General
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Android
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: --
          Assignee: michael.l.come...@gmail.com
          Reporter: michael.l.come...@gmail.com

On my device (GS5) as well as my test device (GS4), there is some jank
when
clicking on the toolbar to enter editing mode (and exiting it).

I've run traces in the past and there are some scheduling delays.
