hey guys sorry i couldn't make it transportation issue
how did you manage to crash osx. :P I thought i would let you know that LibreOffice development is moving at a very rapid pace. I must say this is the first project I have seen and taken part in that's moving in leaps and bounds in a hurry. If i'm not mistaken I read first official release possibly at the beginning of the new yr, or sooner. Also functionality nothing has changed from OOo, if anything functions have been improved, comments translated into English, as well as redundant code removed. Right now as well the installer is a massive 250Mb that's including all the language packs and help, those will eventually be removed and another solution found as to shrinking the size of LO. Also LO has some aspects coded in java and there is a plan to eventually port those over to the native c++ code and get rid of java once and for all. For those of you that would like to chat with devs, or help with development feel free to drop by the libreoffice channel on irc.freenode.net :) _______________________________________________ MLUG-list mailing list [email protected] http://linux.org.mt/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-list
