Hi Everyone,

I still haven't upgraded any of my main machines however I have
performed a full clean install on an old laptop(ASUS A6B00K AMD Turion64
with NVidia graphics). I must say that I am actually very impressed with
the Lynx!! It is very fast at boot up and all the hardware is working
perfectly. The NVidia and Broadcomm WiFi drivers were correctly
identified by the Hardware Drivers application(it popped up
automatically shortly after I did the first update after installation).
This old laptop feels as if it is one of the brand new models with the
Lynx.

I know that it may be counter productive but may I suggest to anyone
wanting to move on to Ubuntu 10.04 that they do a full back up of their
Home folder and perform a full fresh installation. I think it's worth
it.

Regards,

Alan.
