For haskell and prolog, there's also ghc and gprolog, respectively. As
for diagramming, there's Dia and OpenOffice Draw, however, I don't think
they stack up to the proprietary equivalents.

PSpice - couldn't find a better alternative, ended up in a windows
virtual environment.

Xilinx ISE - has a linux native (looks very ugly and is about 5 gigs).
Matlab also has a Linux alternative, btw :

can't confirm, as I don't use it yet.

As for Polyray, well, it's based on PovRay which has a linux native.

One thing, though, it's certainly illegal to be putting proprietary
software on a disk without a license of any kind.
