Hi,

Just my 2cents....

All linux distros are easy to use for beginners if u can help them
install it. But anyway if user insists, I've seen lindows being
installed blindly just by click clik clik and reboot. and yes it runs
some of Gate's poisons.

In general, I have always found it nore fruitfull for a begginer to
have someone install for him fedora, debian, or gentoo. They have
apt-get like software that automagically downloads/install software for
the user. Then help the user out for his first few weeks/months.

Oh and also use mkcdrec to make a rescue disk so he/she knows that if
he/she messed up your install, all he/she has to do is pop those CD's
into the cd drive and your hard work of installing software for him/her
is restored to it's original state ready to be played around again.

regards
jason
