I've heard the news that RedHat was going to stop its free version some 3 months ago and IMMEDIATELY i switched to other alternatives - I tried FreeBSD which is amazing, but *BSD is not linux, so, although I liked the BSD, I preferred to stay with Linux. In fact I've chosen to switch to Debian. To date i'm a happy Debian user and i have the bleeding edge yet stable system everyday. I'm now a Debian die-hard and it will really has to happen something drastic to switch to another distro.
