Hello everybody, I have F-Prot Anti-Virus for Linux and I would like to
setup things so that periodically and automatically a check for updates is
done. I read the documentation regarding this and according to it I need to
create a Crontab entry or Cronjob. I don't know how to do this.
I ran crontab -l in the root console to see a list of Crontabs but there
were no results for root. I suppose I need to create a Crontab and then edit
it but I do not know how. Can someone give me any direction?
And what is exactly a Crontab and a Cronjob?
