Instructions to unsubscribe from this list at the end of the message - --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi,
How much memory do you have in the system? And what flavour of Linux are you using? Did it happen right after installation or have you made some optimizations? Please let us know such details (hardware list of your comp) to be easier to help you. Best regards, Valentin FRUNZA Hi all, I have an old Pentium 133 that I use for Linux, and basically during bootup I often get 'Segmentation Faults' errors - Probably every other bootup These errors do NOT (ususally) hinder the performance of the computer - it still boots up normally after them and works the same as normal (as far as I can tell). My question is: what causes these errors? I'm pretty sure they're hardware faults - does anyone have any ideas what hardware this could be? The hard drvie itself? I've installed Windows95 before on this computer, and this always worked fine (just like MS not to report errors, but anyway). Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks, John C.
