Or, try FreeBSD. Like Linux is trying to beat Microsoft, FreeBSD tries to beat Linux and I am told (I do not have personal experience) that the FreeBSD community is more willing to answer newbie questions in their quest to conquer the world.
FreeBSD is more similar to OpenBSD than is Debian Linux. Learn FreeBSD and then come back to OpenBSD. You will then appreciate OpenBSD better and will be able to ask more advanced questions (after reading the man pages and faq of course!). Bill --------------------------------------------- William J.
