We do this on a directory that's grown from "Large" to "Of Biblical
Proportion" in size where we plain ran out of space in /var.
The solution was:
1. Add another virtual disk thanks to the beauty of vmd and

It does. I need to manread, please don't hesitate to indicate
relevant manpages/sections. You're giving me an idea now, also
in relation to the previous email, where I could create several
virtual disk images on the same 16TB disk, to be used for different
services. This is just a passing thought, not sure it's *that* relevant.
From man httpd.conf:
chroot directory
Set the chroot(2) directory. If not specified, it
defaults to
/var/www, the home directory of the www user.
I don't think I can set chroot directories /per-process/ ?
I.e. having different httpd(8)'s spawned with different chroot
directories ...
that would have been the most straight forward solution.
