I have this OS with packages as of yesterday (Jan 29):

and also tested on with packages around Jan 17:

I have following error:
cat archive.tar | xz -zf --format=xz -9e --threads=2 - > archive.tar.xz
xz: (stdin): Cannot allocate memory
