I have had great joy with the via 600 fanless PD motherboards with CF
memory they make good reliable quite firewalls, i prefer them to the
4801 as they have a lot more grunt when it come to ipsec.

I am not 100% happy with the onboard vr? interfaces but in most places i
am using them as firewalls and very few of my client have anything faster
than 8mbit internet connection.

They have a pci card on them so it is possible to add more interfaces, i
have considered the matrox 4 port fxp based card but at over UK#200 it is
fairly pricey but would suspect it would run a lot better than the vr?
