works fine with openbsd, have a look at Message-ID [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Re: Boot from USB stick) on this list. nevertheless, the openbrick-ng has some disadvantages, ie. there's not much place inside for a disk/cf-disk whatever (i'm using an external usb stick) and the case is getting very hot. i think it's not an alternative to a soekris, it's mostly a compact workstation. mine is based on the following board: http://www.nagasaki.com.tw/7-User's%20Manual/embedded/NASA-6822.pdf reyk
