I'm understanding this is not a crucial fix and it can wait for 18.2.1.
Please, say otherwise if you don't agree.
It can wait only if you delay
glsl: skip stringification in preprocessor if in unreachable branch
to 18.2.1 also otherwise there will be regressions in applications.
