There are quite a lot of proprietary gstreamer codecs around. It's worth reading the GStreamer maintainers' rationale from the time that they clarified their interpretation of the LGPL: http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/licensing.html In particular, applications using gstreamer need to be aware of the gstreamer licensing position, and potentially add an exception allowing the use of proprietary gstreamer plug-ins. > On another note, I should really learn to stop pressing reply...
