I'm pretty sure he meant the xf86-video-nv. xf86-video-nouveau is a
different driver.

For meego on ION you'll have two problems. The first is that you will
need an nvidia driver to get X or even the installer to start. The
second is that ethernet will only work if you add the 'forcedeth'
module in the kernel.
