first of all, thanks for your replies. Unfortunately there is no message, whatsoever in either knldiag, knldiag.err or any other file (tried with 'find . -amin -60'). We are really stuck here. At the moment, the only solution seems to be to reinstall the server completely... but that is ridiculous!
