Hello,
its getting weirder and weirder...
I was able to recover the data, by copying the data and log volume to a
different server and setting up a database with the same volumes. I was
then able to make a full backup of it.
Then i tried to recover the instance from the backup on the production
server, but there it was again, the same error message. After I created
the instance with "db_create SAGVIP user,pw" I tried to set it to admin
state, in order to recover the backup:
dbmcli on SAGVIP>db_admin
ERR
-24994,ERR_RTE: runtime environment error
1,Check knldiag! Kernel died before reaching ADMIN state
Same error.
Then I tried to remove the whole installation of the sapdb software.
I deleted the following directories:
/var/opt/sdb
/usr/spool/sql
/opt/sdb
/etc/opt/sdb
Afterwards, I installed a fresh copy of sapdb. Then I, again created a
db instance SAGVIP and tried setting it in admin_state: The same error
occurs.
I really don't know what is happening here and would be glad about any
clue you can give me!
Cheers,
Daniel
