Clayton L. Harry came up with the solution, thanks a lot:
Select "MapInfo Table" (*.tab) in the Files Type tab in Explorer. Then edit
the Open Action and select "Use DDE" insert: Open Table "%1" View Automatic,
MapInfo, -blank-, System. Then everything works as intended.
I still don't know if it is possible to have more than one hotlink reference
in the same table. Do you have any hints on that subject?

Emne: MI-L Hotlink opens another MI-session

Dear list,
I'm using hotlink in MI 6.0 to display only selected registered ortofotos in
a grid. The hotlink points to the *.tab files.
Everything works just fine on my pc, but when I try to use hotlink on other
computers in the network, they start a new session (open MI again) and
display only the registered foto.
I'm not sure if this is relevant, but the fotos and *.tab files are stored
on my harddrive as a shared folder, (which is a mapped network drive on the
client computers.)
ANY suggestions - I'm out of ideas....
Does anybody know if it is possible to store more than one hotlink in the
same table?

venlig hilsen
