Clayton L. Harry came up with the solution, thanks a lot: Select "MapInfo Table" (*.tab) in the Files Type tab in Explorer. Then edit the Open Action and select "Use DDE" insert: Open Table "%1" View Automatic, MapInfo, -blank-, System. Then everything works as intended. I still don't know if it is possible to have more than one hotlink reference in the same table. Do you have any hints on that subject? The hotlink points to the *.tab files. Everything works just fine on my pc, but when I try to use hotlink on other computers in the network, they start a new session (open MI again) and display only the registered foto. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but the fotos and *.tab files are stored on my harddrive as a shared folder, (which is a mapped network drive on the client computers.) ANY suggestions - I'm out of ideas.... Does anybody know if it is possible to store more than one hotlink in the same table? venlig hilsen Sren Breddam _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body. _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
