The last two legitimate places that I personally receive googlegroups emails from are: - London Hackspace https://london.hackspace.org.uk/ - NetLdn https://netldn.uk/ I do penalise unknown senders from googlegroups but this enough that I won't look further into customer email or institute a blanket reject. Yet. I can see why others might, though, as the legit use has clearly tailed off over the years.
