I was gonna say that. Us Euopeans are often blocked by US newspaper
websites because of they don't want to implement the data privacy stuff
like cookie banners, etc. or they are only allowed to release news from
aggregators locally because of licensing issues, etc.

Policies can be weird in those regards.
