Hello everyone,
thanks for the replies so far. We have tried contacting proofpoint via
web contact form, mail to [email protected] and via phone on
the number listed on the website for UK (Germany does not have a
dedicated phone number apparently)
We heard of other users having similar issues reaching Proofpoint for
delist requests, and are grasping at straws to get this issue resolved
as soon as possible.

to lie their way out of being blocked, they'd have more luck recognizing

It is my impression that most of them do deal with legit requests, but of
course those don't get complained about here.
