AFAIK, application manager won't resolve dependencies if the package is not being installed from a repository. So the solution is to upload your packages to a repository and install from there. (garage.maemo.org provides such a repository)

You have certainly right. But the "normal" user say "it doesn't work" then "good bye" ! I'm having the same problem with maemo-stars and libglade2, this package is on the maemo repository, and is correctly installable via xterm apt-get but it fails through the application manager. I'm not sure, but I thinks this happens because libglade comes from a repository not "trusted" and hence requires manual confirmation on install (press Y from the command line and default to N). Maybe is the same case for you. 2007/2/24, Jean-Luc Biord <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hello, > > I have created the project xgalaga > (https://garage.maemo.org/projects/xgalaga/).
