Hi, I just joined this group, to find out at last how I might successfully export my Address book from Outlook 5.0.6 Mac version in some successful way.
I have tried to export it directly but keep getting a Type 2 Error message from the Mac OS (9.2.2). I have increased the application's memory to 50 MB: no go. I have copied the Identify folder and Outlook Express Preferences file to another Mac but am unable to load those into a new copy of Outlook Express 5.0.6 (on OS X with OS 9.2.2). Possible problems: The Outlook Express Preferences shows last modified on December 31, 1903 - date is the problem? The Identity folder is 2.55 GB -- too full? Can the Address book be too big? (I estimate some 2000 address entries collected over four years). Can there be too many emails? (I estimate some 10,000 emails, many of which have large files attached.) I'm not so worried about the emails, but of course I really want that address book. HELP!!!, please!
