It depends. If it's still in fine form and the CD-ROM still works then
it's worth $50. If the CD-ROM is failing (doesn't read CD-RWs, has
problems with CD-Rs) then it's your call.

They are USB-only but with a little ADB-USB dongle you can hook up any
old ADB device (including the amazing Apple Extended Keyboard II).

As for being a dog -- what do you plan to do with it? Run a server?
It's fine. OS 9? It's fine. OS X? Not on your life, especially in 64
MB of RAM*.

*PS RAM is far more expensive than the computer! Buy a machine with
enough RAM for your needs.

PS2 The Mac mini is a great little machine. Fast. Small. *Cheap* (you
can find new Mac minis (discontinued base model... 1.25 GHz/256 MB/40
GB) for $575 CAD after tax... used for less). Of course,  you need a
screen to go with it.
