Or to any mom-and-pop computer shop where you don't pay the
FutureShop tax or have to put up with the pushiest and most annoying
sales people you'd ever encountered (FS should send them to Istanbul
sales people for a lesson in customer service... be pushy but be
genuinely friendly... not saccharine and sleezy).
I recently bought an iPod shuffle "battery pack" from FS for $50+tax.
When I dropped by my "cheap" Computer System Centre (official Apple
dealer with "official" prices... cheap and CSC don't normally go
together in the same sentence) they were selling the same gadget for
$40 (plus, they had the gadget I wanted... a 110/220 V -> USB charger)
(so I promptly returned the "battery pack" to FS).
Eric.
