I needed this because I work in a development environment and needed to test new a OS for compatibility with our software. This way you could also migrate safely to a newer OS and still boot back to your old stable operating system. Simply, you must Clean Install your additional Mac OS and rename your System Folders appropriately, i.e System Folder 9.1, System Folder 8.6, etc. System Picker simply lists all available system folders, select the one you want from the pop-up menu and click restart.
