Wild fire outages

This weekend, the fires burning in the Kamloops area caused an outage 
of internet service (see below) across most of the southern interior, 
apparently. I've also got one report from the Burns Lake area of loss 
of service.

I want to get some idea of the real extent (as opposed to press 
releases) of the problem for an article. I'd appreciate it if other BC 
and Alberta list members could e-mail me off-list and let me know 
whether they had outages this weekend.
