Well, after making the trek across the city, a good 45 minutes of travel by streetcar, bus, and subway, I got there to find that NO it hadn't been brought up from the warehouse and NO they could not go get it for me as the warehouse was closed and locked for the evening. In other words, I was SOL.
I eventually came back and bought the part from them (15$ was just too good a price to pass up on) but I'm never going to do business with them again if I can avoid it, given the tone and content of my experiences there.

Shudder. I wouldn't wish these buggers on my worst enemy. Rip off artists,
both in their price list, in the service they provide and in the fees they
charge for repairs. Not only are their repair fees exorbitant but they don't
tell you up-front that they'll f*** you up the rear for even looking at a
computer (if they'd been honest up front I would've taken it elsewhere and
not been turned into a very dissatisfied customer).
