Another problem is, that LMMS still doesn't support Linux-native VST's or LV2's. Meaning, if VST's are disallowed, then there's no external instrument plugins that can be used. What if I render the output of a VST as a sample and then use samples in LMMS? We'd have to forbid samples as well... I'd also like to ask, from someone who knows, how difficult would it be to implement this support for LinuxVST, since we already have support for the VST format - the format and API should be the same between the platforms, right?
