Hi Ross,

We are using the latest version of the Live555 Media Server and a MPEG4HD content wrapped in TS file format to test content play in trick mode. We are using ADB and Amino STB's as client devices. We use "testMPEG2TransportStreamIndexer.exe" to generate the indexer file. We have created a .tsx out of that original file. We are  facing one issue. The scenario is as follows.

When we tried with playing at x1, x4, x15, x60 and x300 speed, the content plays at x4 speed and after that at x15 speed, the video freezes and when we press play it plays from the current position as if we never pressed FF at all and playing at normal speed x1.  At some times, the content plays fine at x15 speed also.

We generated a .tsx file from a MPEG2 SD content and played using the different speeds :- 4, 15, 60 and 300. The client devices are ADB and Amino STB's. When we play the files in FFW mode ( x1, x4, x15, x60 and x300 ). It is playing well.

The output ( x4, x15, x60 and x300 ) of the MPEG4 HD file plays out ok in VLC. How can we verify that the stream generated by the RTSPServer streams out the MPEG4 HD content in a trick mode is ok?

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks and regards,
M. Nambirajan
