OK.  I'll see if I can reproduce it, but that'll probably involve a
decent amount of toolchain fiddling.

If no one objects, I'll see if I can get this stuff working with the
vvar area before the vdso in time for 3.16-rc4.  The current approach
works and it should be reliable at runtime, but the build situation
isn't so good.
