Sorry to read that. I use direct mail / mail merge once in a while.
Sometimes with problems, but most of the time not.
I know there are some bugs, and quite some have been fixed recently.
Can you please explain what problem you experience?
That will help us either point you to an existing issue, or locate a
possibly unknown problem.
Note: This tool works perfectly in Lotus Symphony

Why LibreOffice don't have the hability to self-update?
It's very annoyng to reinstall LO in every single machine in my company.
If that is really important to your company, then it is very logic to
consider a support contract from one of the larger contributing
companies to LibreOffice. I guess they will provide that kind of
service. (And other advantages for all parties :-) )
