Description:
Files are stored in Windows 10 share. Using LibreOffice in Linux Mint 21.
Whenever I open a file in the windows share, update it, and try to save it
(Ctrl-S), I get the following error:
Error saving the document xxxx:
Error creating object.
Could not create backup copy.
.ods and .odt files don't have this problem. .doc, .docx, .xls, and .xlsx all
do.
When doing the same on a file that's stored locally, everything works as
expected.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document stored in a Windows share.
2. Modify the document.
3. Save (Ctrl-S).
Actual Results:
I get the following error in LibreOffice (calc and write):
Error saving the document xxxx:
Error creating object.
Could not create backup copy.
Expected Results:
File should be updated.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Tried the same from a Laptop running Win 11 and LO 24.x and there's no problem
there.
