Bug ID: 164670
Summary: Menu partially disappears after clicking in a table in
a document.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
whenever a text document contains a table and the cursor is outside the table,
the menu at the top of the document partially disappears the moment the user
clicks inside the table to move the cursor there.
To make the menu appear again, simply grab the edge or a corner of the window
and slightly resize it. The menu will be displayed again the moment the window
is resized, even by a single pixel.
If one then moves the cursor outside of the table, and back in, the menu will
disappear again.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open existing text document or create new one
2.if document does not include a table, create one.
3.click inside the table.
Actual Results:
only the two leftmost sections of the menu (not the pulldown menu at the top,
rather the ribbon with two lines of quick access menu items) (sections File and
Edit) remain intact. all other sections to the right of these two are displayed
with only the first line remaining.
Expected Results:
menu should not have been affected by cursor moving inside the table. It is
displayed again after one resizes the application window.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
