About inserting both values (date and time) within the same cell, the answer is "yes, Calc can do it too". Press one shortcut, then the other. Having to wait several years to see this solved, by now I am just used to correct the shortcuts for my own keyboard, using Calc > menu Tools > Customize > Keyboard. I believe that many users would be happy to see this bug really fixed, for every OS, every language, and every keyboard layout (instead of having multiple regressions every now and then, depending on some condition).
