try setting the desired pixel format before calling av_frame_get_buffer()



gl_frame->format=AV_PIX_FMT_RGB24;

av_frame_get_buffer(gl_frame, 1);

I don't have any more ideas, but can you show us the new code? Someone
else might spot the problem.
