i just switched my LetterRip server over to an Intel mini running
10.5.1 and it has been crashing pretty regularly.
i thought i read that Leopard was fine... and that people had it
running on Intel fine... just perhaps not the combination. is anyone
else running this combination? is it running fine?
i have a full crash log if that helps... the actual console message is
just an "Exited abnormally: bus error" ... then in the crash log
itself it is a "EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)" exception type... followed by
the thread listings.
any ideas?
when it *is* running it definitely seems to be processing / running
faster than it was with the old 500GHz G4 it was on.
also been having some problems connecting via the admin application
locally. have not tried remotely.
