Hi Rev. Eric, Actually this has been a problem for quite some time now; it is increasingly becoming a _bigger_ problem... and I am quite surprised that this has yet to be answered or addressed.... Due to the lack of response on this matter it looks like I will be forced to trasnition another 30~40 lists from LetterRip over to GNU's Mailman... -Tim > > On Aug 15, 2007, at 1:20 PM, Timothy Penner wrote: > > > I sent this to Juds last week and havent seen a response so > > i thought i would ask on the list.... > > > > Any information would be helpful. > > > > _____ > > > > From: Timothy Penner > > Sent: Friday, August 10, 2007 6:11 PM > > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > > Cc: Timothy Penner > > Subject: spam in auto-responses > > > > > > > > Hello, > > > > For a while now I have been battling with spammers leveraging > > LetterRip's auto responses to send out spam from a server i > manage. > > In researching the problem, i have come across an archive > of this list > > where this topic is discussed back in May as "Big Issues" > [1].
