Well, learn something new every day. I always assumed that was purely typographial. I have never seen it in any plain text computer format.
Honestly though, when I budget my time I have to choose between my wife, my five kids, my full time job, my other interests and supporting ledger-mode, ledger documentation and sometimes actually getting into the C++. Guess which usually win? Unless a huge number of people start screaming for it I just can't see it being worth the effort. I usually add features that I want and share them with everyone else. If someone wanted to start paying for features, that could be interesting enough to get my attention on adding things that are of no importance to me...
