There's no question in my mind that your work will help to make Ledger accessible to many more people.
One other related question I had was with 5.5.3... (I really like this section -- it clears up a lot of things that mystified me before.) With respect to the last example in 5.5.3, is there any way to control which account gets the auto-generated posting, or is it hardcoded to be Equity:Capital Losses? The reason I'm asking is because this type of discrepancy seems more likely to happen as a result of currency conversions, so I'd be interested in perhaps setting the default to be something like "Equity:Currency Losses" or perhaps "Expenses:Currency Conversion Fees". Maybe a more advanced related question is whether there are any other places in Ledger where these type of auto-generated postings happen? Auto-generation is only mentioned here (in 5.5.3) and briefly in 7.2.5.
