Thanks so much for the update! I read through the whole thing and am very impressed by all your work -- you've done an amazing job.
I really like the asset allocation example. If I had one comment, it's that handling more basic stock transactions and reporting in ledger is still a bit unclear. There is section 5.5.2, but it just shows basic stock purchases and sales. What is the best way to account for dividends? Is there an easy way to report the total return for a security? (i.e. current price + dividends accumulated - (purchase price + purchase commission)) Also, maybe related to this: an example using --comm-as-payee might be helpful.
