Logging is much easier these days: open KMyMoney's configuration dialog and select the Support tab on the General page. When trying a browser on the given URL please keep in mind, that the browser just does a simple GET whereas the OFX request is a POST. The server may detect that and give you an error message right away which is not related. Tools like Tamper [0] or HTTP Request Maker [1] may help to analyze the problem, though I doubt you will be able to create a valid request that way. Best would be to get the OFX logs as described above.
